Jorge De La Rosa Is Donzo
Jorge De La Rosa had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. The injury is expected to require Tommy John surgery and sideline De La Rosa for the rest of the season.
Believe it or not, Jorge De La Rosa is a really good pitcher and very important for the Rockies. De La Rosa was the Rockies' top pitcher so far with a 5-2 record and a 3.51 ERA and 52 Ks. He was coming off his first career complete game when he got hurt.
This will certainly make the Rockies a buyer during this years trading deadline as they are most certainly going to be in the NL West playoff hunt.
