Patriots 31, Buccaneers 14

I'm excited. I know it was a preseason game. I know it was against the Buccaneers. But it was exciting just seeing Tom Brady throwing passes in a game for the first time since that calamity against the Jets, especially with that lockout thing in between.

Brady was 11 for 19 for 118 yards, 2 TDs, and 0 picks. That's a 111.3 rating, by the way. He connected with Aaron Hernandez for a touchdown, and with Ochocinco. It was one of only two passes caught by the receiver formerly known as Johnson.

The Patriots amassed 200 yards on the grand, thanks mostly to Stevan Ridley's 84 yards on 14 carries. Ridley also caught 3 passes for 27. BJG Ellis ran for two scores.

If the Patriots can get a solid, reliable running game, it will help their passing so much. With tight-ends, and medium-route receivers like Welker, Branch, and Ochocino, it's a real luxury to be able to run the ball on 1st and 2nd downs, and create 2nd & 6, or 3rd & 2. That just opens the whole playbook for Brady.

The Patriots look good, but is that a surprise? This team won 14 games last year. We know they have the talent to make the playoffs and contend for a divisional title. So far, they look a little better than last year.

Maybe that's because we're anticipating guys like Woodhead, Hernandez, and Gronkowski to be good. They were surprises last year. They all have expectations now. Maybe because Ridley is having a good pre-season. Maybe because the young players are a year older and wiser. Maybe because the Pats added Ochocinco.

I haven't been this excited for a Patriots season to start since 2007.

Breaking News: Eli Manning Tries Angel Dust

We don't have any pictures yet of him doing this hardcore drug, but after reading this quote it's just a matter of time...

Eli Manning talking about who is in Tom Brady's class... ""I consider myself in that class," Manning said on New York’s ESPN 1050. "And Tom Brady is a great quarterback, he's a great player and what you've seen with him is he's gotten better every year. He started off winning championships and I think he's a better quarterback now than what he was, in all honesty, when he was winning those championships."

Wait... Did ShEli Manning just say he is in the same class as Tom Brady? Wow, this angel dust stuff must be damn strong.

There are only 2 other people right now that are in Tom Brady's "class"... Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning. Ben because of his winning ways (not just in pinning women to the floor), and Peyton because he is up there for a lot of records and has a ring.

ShEli you got lucky and won a ring. Good for you, but you really need to humble yourself. You won because your WR pulled a catch out of his ass, and what have you done since? I'll tell you what you have done... nothing. You threw 25 picks last year!!!! If you combined all Brady's seasons from 2007 through 2010 he threw 25 picks. God, if it wasn't for Barstool Sports throwing up Brady's kid's dong pics you would be on the top of his shit list.

Barstool Sports Is A Bunch Pedophiles (UPDATED)

El Prez likes to look at photos of naked little boys. That's what we found out today.

We do a lot of terrible things on this site. We degrade women, make fun of people who have died, national tragedies, so for us to sit back and talk about morals is kind of stupid. Still, we don't post pictures of naked children. Barstool does. Barstool decided today to run a story of Tom Brady's son naked. Sorry, that's fucking gross. There is a line somewhere here, and they have crossed it.

More then anyone else on this site I have had a huge problem with Barstool. I'll admit a couple years back I was a fan. Then they stopped writing about sports and it turned into PrezHilton. It sucks, and then they started running stories about women who rape little boys, and laughing about it. Now, they post naked pictures of children.

Way to go Barstool, class acts. I was actually going to write a post about how you guys have been blowing up. All over WEEI, ect but you guys don't deserve anything except everyone ditching your site.

And no, there is no way I am going to link that shit. You want to find it do it on your own time.

Fuck Barstool.

***UPDATE***

WEEI has banned "El Prez" from the station. First good thing in a long time WEEI has done.

NFL Players Name Brady #1

In case you missed it last night, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was voted the best player in the league by over 400 of his peers in the NFL Network's "The Top 100 Players of 2011."

Not really surprised by that, but it was interesting to hear him talk after. Obviously he was classy and said it was because of his teammates, but it was who he pointed out that was interesting. He credited Branch, Welker, Christian Fauria, and ti goes on and on. The one name missing Mr. Randy Moss. Kind of surprising after all the success they had together, but he really must have left on bad terms.

Anyways, I do agree that Brady is #1, but this list is a fucking joke anyways.

- Ray Lewis is no longer the 4th best player in the NFL.
- Roethlisberger should be higher then #41.

There is a shit load more problems I have with the "list", which you can see by clicking HERE

Breaking News: Patriots Have A Gay Quarterback

(WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)

I know Patriot fans have to be a little disappointed about Tom Brady's completely flamboyant behavior this offseason. 1st you see him with a pony tail at carnival, then he crys like a bitch on ESPN because he got drafted late. You can tell Gisele has just taken his nuts away completely. First he looks like a queer on that slide, then he goes around with shaved armpits.

C'mon Tom take your manhood back and get rid of that tranny.

Forbes lists are stupid

Here is their top 10 Most Influential Athlete list:
1. Jimmie Johnson
2. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady
3. Dale Earnhardt Jr.
4. NBA star Shaquille O'Neal
5. Olympic gold medalist swimmer Michael Phelps
6. Steelers safety Troy Polamalu
7. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning
8. Four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jeff Gordon
9. NBA star LeBron James
10. Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow

I'm appalled by this list. It's like this list was polled south of the Mason Dixon line. 3 NASCAR drivers! C'mon man, they don't deserve that credit and anyone that tells me, "Oh, NASCAR is the most popular sport in America" deserves a punch in the nose. Know who are NASCAR fans? Fat, uneducated, racist... well I guess that sums up the south, and people who weren't good at any other sports growing up so they gravitate towards a sport that requires no skill. I wouldn't be able to point out Jimmie Johnson if he was next to me, Dale Earnhardt Jr hasn't won a race since 2008 and I thought Jeff Gordan was dead or retired. But getting off NASCAR I'm almost offended that Shaq is on this list too. He maybe the most followed athlete on twitter but he is more of a side show than influential. And Tim Fucking Tebow? If your going to reach on a bible belt QB, why don't you pick the number 1 pick in the draft Cam Newton. Tebow makes no sense. And who cares about the Olympics and Michael Phelps anymore.

Here is my list:

1. Tom Brady
2. LeBron James
3. Cam Newton
4. Tiger Woods
5. Payton Manning
6. Jimmie Johnson (you have to do this for PR to keep the south at bay)
7. Ray Lewis
8. Shaun White
9. Tim Lincecum
10. Dwayne Wade
